Pay-the-Man Method (recommended)
- Call Riverfield resident and NHS student Kyle Hendrix at (770) 449-6813. Kyle has refinished over 100 mailboxes in Riverfield and the Peachtree Corners area. He does great work!
- The service includes rust removal, new paint including gold address numbers, and minor door/flag and plate repair, if needed. He will protect surrounding shrubs and flowers.
- The cost is only $25.00
- Remove all screws from the box
- Remove numbers from box by prying gently with screwdriver. Lay numbers on newspaper, and spray paint with Gold "Rust-Oleum Metallic Paint". Note that the screw heads on the numbers are fake, so don't try to screw them off, unless you need to.
- Use sandpaper/steel wool/wire brush to remove all rust from the box and rough up the surfaces for paint. Remove sanding dust before painting using a wet rag.
- Spray with the reddish colored "Rust-Oleum Rusty Metal Primer" on any areas that were heavily rusted for maximum rust protection in the future.
- Spray paint with black "Rust-Oleum Gloss Protective Enamel".
- Replace rusted nuts/bolts with stainless steel 1/4"x5/8" and 10/32"x1/2" nuts and bolts.
- If necessary, reafix numbers to box using a few dabs of pure silicone caulk. Do this with the number flag off the box on its side so the numbers dont slip while drying. The silicone holds well, but still allows the numbers to be removed in the future, if necessary.

Comcast provides cable modem service. AT&T provides a DSL-like service called I-FITL. The cable modem gets you 6 mbps download rate, whereas the I-FITL is 1.5 mbps.
Do we need permission to cut down and remove trees in our front or back yard?
